The Knoxville Community School District approved a copier/printer replacement proposal at their meeting Monday night.

This proposal is to upgrade the district wide printer/copiers from Premier/Xerox to Access Systems. This will include Sharp copiers and Lexmark printers. The reason the district is making this change is because Access Systems was the only provider offering to provide a proposal to pay off the existing lease and provide all new copiers and printers for the district. Knoxville contacted Pella Community and Pella Christian school districts, as they currently use Access Systems and gave a strong recommendation. The district will also save over $500 a month by switching to the new provider. Knoxville Community School District Business Manager Craig Mobley looks forward to the transition.

“We did due diligence with some other districts that Access Systems worked with and they got great reviews from those people so we are looking forward to building a strong relationship with Access Systems and moving forward with them.”

The district anticipates the switch to happen over winter break.
