Fairfield, NJ – Keypoint Intelligence, the leading market research firm and independent evaluator of print and smart workplace technology and services, announces that KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc., has won the Buyers Lab (BLI) 2024 Most Color Consistent A3 Brand Award. This is the first time Kyocera has claimed one of Keypoint Intelligence’s once-every-three-year awards.



Color consistency has been a crucial element of Keypoint Intelligence lab testing for over two decades. A3 hardware is tested to the maximum monthly duty cycle, using standardized media IT8 color charts printed and measured at the 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% test points. Each sample is then compared to the Day 1 output to assess just how stable color output is over time. To determine the award recipient, Keypoint Intelligence analyzed the previous five years of test data, equating to over six million pages from six vendors printed by A3 toner-based color models. Kyocera’s four devices evaluated produced over 1.7 million pages.
