We have two and they both have problems out of the box. One the scanner is stuck at home position and the other had a bad fax board.
Is it just our bad luck or are others having issues with the AC205?

I also have two with no problems, doc feeder is so so.

we have about 10 in the field. No problems if expectations are set properly. Feeder not real reliable, copy quality not the best but print, scan, fax, copy with street price under $1000. Definitely something a lot of people want.

As far as the scanner locked in home position, did you check the blue scanner lock underneath that need to be unlocked during set up?

I thought of that but came to find out that it wasn't locked at Home but would move about an inch and then lock-up. We just sent it back. I just wanted to make sure that it was just bad luck that the first two were problem machines. I'm hearing from everyone else that they apear to be OK overall.
