Information technology company Involta purchased ITLynk, an Ohio-based IT managed services company, the company said Thursday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In a statement, the company said it will retain all 18 ITLynk employees and its four data centers and offices in Independence, Ohio.

The deal comes only two months after Involta purchased BluPrairie, a Coralville-based cloud management and consulting company. BluPrairie’s former CEO, Michelle Bates was, named Involta’s chief innovation officer as part of that sale.

“ITLynk and Involta are very closely aligned, and we’re looking forward to blending our teams, strengthening our business relationships in northeastern Ohio and helping our customers with their cloud and IT service needs,” Involta CEO Bruce Lehrman said.

Involta is based in Cedar Rapids and has 250 employees nationwide.

Spokesman Chris Massey said there are no plans to move IT Lynk employees to Eastern Iowa.
