21 October 2013 (Dubai, United Arab Emirates): Intergence, the IT optimisation experts operating from the UAE and UK, is looking to recruit up to 100 additional IT consultants and project managers to join its Middle East network as the business grows rapidly in response to increasing demand for its managed sourcing services. Intergence has appointed Mike Bartlett as the head of Client Resourcing for the Middle East, based in Dubai; he will manage the existing Intergence team of more than 50 consultants working on projects across the region, and lead the acquisition of new talent.
Intergence has seen demand in the UAE for its short term IT resourcing services (specialist outsourcing that allows companies to flex up and down with specific IT skills very quickly) grow dramatically in the last 18 months. The company now aims to almost quadruple the number of consultants operating in the UAE over the next 12-18 months, and to double its annual revenues from this activity.
Intergence currently has more than 50 senior IT consultants based in the UAE and working on assignments across a range of industries, including flagship projects in higher education, banking, logistics and hospitality. The company plans to increase this number to more than 150 consultants, with a specific focus on projects in the GCC with an emphasis on the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
As part of the company's regional business expansion plans, Intergence has appointed Mike Bartlett as Client Resourcing Manager for the Middle East. He has a strong background in talent acquisition and account management across IT/telecoms, recruitment and resourcing, in international markets. Prior to joining Intergence, he was responsible for talent acquisition at Vodafone Global Enterprise (Bluefish Communications), based in the UK.
Peter Job, Founder and CEO of Intergence, comments: "Managed resourcing is especially valuable for companies undergoing some form of transformation, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, new projects or other transformative events within an organisation. With the regional business cycle now in full swing, demand for these services is rising dramatically and we are delighted to appoint Mike to oversee the recruitment of IT consultants into our regional network."
Intergence already has a strong track record in the UK, providing managed resourcing to major clients, such as Reuters, BT, C&W, and Vodafone, and demand is also increasing in the UK, where Intergence can draw on a pool of more than 250 senior IT professionals, including its own team of consultants.
