IntelliChief, LLC, a provider of automated document management and workflow enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, has introduced IntelliChief 3.6 ECM. The solution is targeted at enabling process time and cost savings throughout organizations with deployments focused on Accounting (both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable), Finance, Customer Service, HR, Legal, Logistics/Distribution, Operations and other paper and process-intensive departments.
According to the vendor, the new release encompasses company environment-specific configured business process automation, including multi-format document capture, full-text and zonal search and interdepartmental workflow, with ERP system and line-of-business application (LOB) integration. The goal is to provide organizationsn with an automated transition from manual document management and workflow functions, so users can capture documentation in any format, index the contents, and validate with data in their ERP system or line-of-business application.
New capabilities in IntelliChief 3.6 ECM include the ability for users to temporarily assign their access rights to other staff, which is necessary to keep approvals and other collaboration moving when users are out of the office. The addition of document capture-phase notations makes it possible for information to be added and edited to content during capture and prior to a document file being created. Once the file has been created, all information is securely contained, with any additional notations added and captured by field or on-document postings, assuring workflow integrity. The new release also matches newly-uploaded documents with project/transaction documentation already in workflow.
In other new enhancements, IntelliChief 3.6 ECM also adds configured document search for any document by content and type using index fields optimized for each user’s specific environment; internationalization on a per user basis for multilingual environments; and workflow action notifications that can be configured based on a user' preferences to fit better with individual schedules.
