Chicago, IL.,(PRINT 09) – August 25, 2009 – InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, today announced its lineup of market-leading hardware and software solutions along with professional services offerings for the commercial print industry to be shown at booth #2082 at PRINT 09, September 11-16, 2009.
InfoPrint will tackle current customer issues and concerns, such as mailroom regulation, postal tracking, TransPromo implementation and print cost reduction. The company will showcase precision communication and delivery solutions from its Suite of TransPromo Solutions, Print on Demand (POD) technologies, and Automated Document Factory (ADF) offerings.
“InfoPrint continues to implement solutions that address our customer's most pressing business challenges, both in generating new revenue with relevant marketing communications via TransPromo and POD applications and also in gaining efficiency and cost savings with workflow solutions that enable smarter, trackable operations," said Sandra Zoratti, Vice President, Global Solutions Marketing at InfoPrint. “Our ‘Meet the Experts’ program at PRINT 09 will showcase our customer-focused solutions, proof points and expertise. Our professional services team will be on hand to converse about innovative ways that InfoPrint can help businesses manage effectively in today’s economic environment.”
The Suite of TransPromo Solutions is a key part of the InfoPrint portfolio as it enables print providers to increase their return on investment (ROI) on output by implementing data driven, relevant messaging and promotions. InfoPrint’s TransPromo professional services team works hand-in-hand with its customers to simplify and customize the technique to each individual operational format. By optimizing database analytics, statement design and composition and direct marketing content from one, centralized software portfolio, InfoPrint has already enabled customers to see exponential ROI growth.
The second solution on display will be InfoPrint’s POD suite to help printers create high-value variable data documents, connect with their clients using web-to-print ordering solutions, prepare and manage files for production and produce high quality monochrome and color output. These workflow offerings enable order-to-engine automation of short-run books, personalized marketing collateral and other applications using industry leading document composition, web-to-print, pre-press automation and output management solutions.
InfoPrint’s ADF workflow solution reduces production and postal costs by automating jobs and controlling each document from composition through mailing, while meeting requirements for Basic or Full Service Intelligent Mail®. This high integrity production process and the resulting reports help achieve compliance with regulations, such as Regulation Z and HIPAA.
InfoPrint will highlight three new Postal Optimization ADF solutions at PRINT 09, designed and sized for mailers with either Basic or Full Service Intelligent Mail needs. These solutions allow mailers to benefit from an ADF workflow offering while meeting compliance requirements at a very attractive entry price. It may be added as business needs change, with integrated offerings to eliminate postal meters, maximize postal densities, datastreams and optimize sorter utilization. Also on display will be the InfoPrint Mailroom Integrity ADF Solution, which automates the printing and inserting process, managing individual mailpieces from receipt through insertion. The solution automatically detects and reprints damaged mailpieces on the printer of choice, so these are simply destroyed, greatly reducing the risk posed by manual intervention.
These solutions will run on InfoPrint’s award-winning printers, including the recently launched InfoPrint Pro C900AFP. This color cutsheet platform bridges the gap between production machines such as the full-color continuous forms inkjet drop-on-demand InfoPrint 5000 and monochrome InfoPrint 4100, and the company’s existing cutsheet portfolio. It also capitalizes on the growing color printing market in the light production space. The InfoPrint Pro C900AFP can accommodate a wide variety of applications output such as color invoices and statements. It also enables precise marketing initiatives like direct mail and TransPromo, both of which provide customers with cost reduction options and innovative solutions implementations. The InfoPrint 5000 and InfoPrint 4100 will also both be on display at PRINT 09.
