Industry Events in Atlanta?

There was a BTA event last month in South Carolina, there is a winter break for BTA in Orlando in Feb, and then Itex in April in Vegas and Photizo in Scottsdale in May.

Quick question:

Do you pay for this kind of stuff out of pocket or is it out of the question to ask the dealer to help pay for this kind of thing?

You can't get it if you don't ask. I will ask the owner of my company if they will pay for a local event. Most times they have not, thus if I really wanted to go, I paid out of pocket to go there.

I figure it could go both ways. The dealer may be interested in paying for training so they can have a more knowledgeable sales team but then again its my career that I'm thinking about.

Either way, my goal is to make it to ITEX this year. I've gotta hang with the big dogs if I'm gonna sell like the big dogs.
