The IKON BusinessPro(R) line of printers combines speed, power and versatility at affordable price points for customers
MALVERN, Pa. — IKON Office Solutions (NYSE:IKN), the world's largest independent channel for document management systems and services, today introduced the IKON BusinessPro(R) line of printers. Developed in conjunction with Ricoh, the line consists of three printers, the IKON BusinessPro(R) 31MP, a high-value black and white printer designed for desktop applications; the IKON BusinessPro(R) 3131CP, a color desktop printer that combines superior image quality with quick print speeds; and the IKON BusinessPro(R) 4040CP, a color workgroup printer that produces fast, high-quality results, combining precise color calibration with broad paper handling capabilities.

IKON BusinessPro 31MP
The IKON BusinessPro 31MP is a black and white laser printer that is designed for fast and convenient desktop printing with simple operation and fast print speed. The IKON BusinessPro 31MP can print resolutions up to 1200 x 600 dpi at 31 pages per minute, one of the fastest print speeds in the desktop category, and features a space saving footprint for small areas. Its simple paper path, feeding and handling is designed to virtually eliminate paper jams, and a wide range of paper capabilities, up to 8.5" x 14", allow users to output letters, proposals and more without having to switch printers.
Because it comes standard with 192 MB of RAM, IKON BusinessPro 31MP users can quickly print large files. Users can also upgrade to 384 MB of RAM, or add an optional hard drive for even more power. PDFs can be printed quickly with the use of PDF Direct print, which enables users to print PDF files without opening them. Instant email alerts let users know if paper or other printer attention is needed.

IKON BusinessPro 3131CP
The IKON BusinessPro 3131CP combines exceptional color and black and white printing into a system with fast print speed, standard two-sided automatic printing and high-yield consumables. Users can save time with the ability to print in color and black and white at 31 pages per minute at a 1200 x 1200 dpi image quality, and can save paper when using the standard integrated duplexing to print two-sided pages.
The IKON BusinessPro 3131CP can print on a variety of paper sizes and stocks, enabling users to produce report covers, presentations, oversized postcards and more. Files are printed quickly utilizing the extended memory capacity and the high performance 600MHz controller. In addition, the IKON BusinessPro 3131CP features the latest security features, such as data encryption and unauthorized copy control. Users can connect desktops and laptops and monitor network printers easily using the latest built-in network connectivity.
IKON BusinessPro 4040CP
The IKON BusinessPro 4040CP features speeds up to 40 pages per minute when printing in either color or black and white and can quickly produce high quality color proposals and presentations. The IKON BusinessPro 4040CP is designed to allow users to work without interruption with a paper capacity of up to 3,200 sheets, with options, and its high yield consumables and reliable hardware are designed to deliver impressive performance for the life of the system.
The IKON BusinessPro 4040CP features 9,600 x 600 dpi interpolated resolution for sharp images, smooth gradations, and exceptional hues. Optional PANTONE support means users can confidently print full-color files in-house, with output sizes up to 11" x 17" and stock up to 120 lb. Index through paper trays and 140 lb. Index through the bypass tray. Duplexing can be completed at the same speed as single-sided printing.
A standard 40 GB hard disk drive is designed to allow users to archive documents locally and store frequently printed documents and additional fonts right on the IKON BusinessPro 4040CP. In addition, sensitive data can be protected with advanced data encryption, and the optional DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS) automatically overwrites hard drive information after each job.
