when the client balked at moving forward with the order I stuck to my guns with my proposal. I was told that they would mull on it and might (means they would) entertain another vendor. Here's what I did wrong....I should have created and alternative quote to my original proposal. I believe doing that would have increased my chances. This was the first time I had a client opt for inkjet rather than a toner based wide format. They told me they were not happy with the way their current wide forma loaded toner and created toner dust. I had do idea this was a buying signal and I ignored it. Lesson to be learned.... always give multiple options
