Kofax® Limited (NASDAQ: KFX) (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of smart process applications for the business critical First Mile™ of customer interactions, today announced that HTH Worldwide (HTH), a technology-based services company serving global travelers and international health insurance companies has selected a Kofax solution to capture and process medical claims and supporting documents via mobile devices. The company is using Kofax Mobile Capture™ to ensure HTH’s mobile app captures images of the highest quality and compresses them into small file sizes that are more efficient for transmission and archive purposes. The solution also improves security for members by not saving captured images directly on the mobile devices.

“Prior to using Kofax Mobile Capture, we were managing a high volume of low quality images that were too large, illegible and difficult to process,” said Alex Wood, Managing Director, HTH Worldwide. “Working with these images was time consuming, costly and became a source of frustration for both the claims department and our members. ‟Kofax’s mobile technology has been tremendous in alleviating those problems and is enabling our claims department to operate far more efficiently. It’s also making the claims process for our members more convenient, less time consuming and secure.”

HTH estimates it will capture and process tens of thousands of documents in 2014 through the use of its mobile app. It expects that number to grow quickly as more members opt for the convenience and security that comes with transmitting documents via mobile devices.

“HTH’s leadership understands that winning in the Age of the Customer requires conducting business in the way customers prefer,” said Grant Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer at Kofax. “As mobile devices increasingly become customers’ preferred channel, more companies are turning to Kofax for innovative and smart mobile solutions.”
