HP reports on its dealer programs

Claims that 99% of its dealers worldwide have now signed up for its new Amplify dealer program
- Replaces its Partner First program
- New program has just two tracks, Synergy and Power, to replace Silver, Platinum, MPS, etc. legacy tracks
- Synergy track is designed for majority of dealers and has minimum entry
requirements
o Partner portal access
o Sales training
o Measure and reward dealer efforts for:
 Sales process
 Registration volume
 Average sales volume
 Account retention
 Digital skill improvement
 Service delivery capabilities
 Ecommerce development
 Secure data collection

- Power track is for dealers who wish to invest and collaborate more with HP
o Includes components of Synergy
o More rewards
o More access to data
o Access to MPS (HP managed print services program), managed services
portfolio./delivery
o Recurring revenue opportunity
o With the data-sharing initiative with partners, “we’re making sure that they
understand that this is a partnership,” said Christoph Schell, chief commercial
officer at HP, in an interview with CRN in September.
 “We need to own the trust of our customers for them to opt in, but we
also obviously need to own the trust of our partners that we are not
going to use the data to, for example, go direct,” Schell said. “We
want to continue to have a partner-led engagement.”

- Amplify Impact was also launched offering:
o Promotes environmental sustainability
o Training, support and other resources to promote diversity and community
