How Much Storage?

Well, the doc servers on our machines are what 10MB or 20MB and they are supposed to hold 10,000 pages of letter at 6% coverage. I would probably extrapolate from there. (the caveat to that is the CL7000 has a 40MB HDD and it too holds 10K in pages at 6% coverage) Go Figure

Correct the MB in the previous post to GB. Using GB instead of MB's you're screwed as far as storage with only 500MB on the Doc Mall

I am using 500MB or .5 GB on my doc mall account. I have uploaded many pics, brochures and docs and still have room.

I am only guessing, but tend to think that 1,000 pages of black & white text type docs would fit nicely.

Any one else have a comment on this?

I spoke to our Document Mall Rep and he said 500MB would be good for about 10,000-12,000 pages of scanned images. If they are pages saved as a document from your computer the amount is half. He said these were real world numbers...for what that is worth!!:-)
