Going to make a long story short. The previous MP Cw2201 color wide format from Ricoh offered a three position stacker. One of those three positions allowed the prints to lay flat when they came out of the device.
With the new IM Cw2200 Ricoh failed to offer the 3 position stacker and went to a one position stacker. Great move since they eliminated the ability for the flat stacking feature.

Even though the part numbers are different I believe the B units are identical (hoping someone can validate this). I took a look at the stands on the brochures , thus the reason I believe they are.
Now the three position stacker can still be bought as a part from Ricoh. My thought is to trash the one position stacker on the IM Cw2200 and replace it the the three position stacker for the MP Cw2201.
