SPI, the African distributor for utility software products and services to the open systems segment of the IT industry and the sole sub-Saharan Africa distributor for Help/Systems, today announced that the latter’s CEO, Kate Bolseth, has been named by The IT Services Report as one of the Top 25 Women Leaders in IT Managed Services of 2021.
According to the report, these exceptional women have excelled in a highly competitive industry that continues to evolve at a fast clip. Hailing from varied backgrounds they contribute an array of expertise, yet one thing unifies these executives and that’s their commitment to customer success. They work in diverse organisations where communication and collaboration skills are paramount in delivering effective solutions to increasingly complex client needs. Offering services spanning overall IT management, workflow improvement, remote monitoring, cloud migration, help desk support and more, these leaders have maintained a dedication to innovation and continuous process improvement.
"This year's awardees were nominated and selected based on evaluation of their professional achievements and demonstrated leadership capabilities. While the number of nominations was a factor, we paid more attention to the quality of the nomination submissions and substantive feedback on the nominee's performance, particularly in challenging situations."
Kate Bolseth joined Help/Systems in 2015 as a general manager of cross-platform product lines, setting strategy and overseeing operational functions. She later became the company’s chief operating officer before being named CEO in 2019. She recently led the company’s acquisition of Digital Defense, a provider of cyber security software as a service (SaaS) for enterprise clients.
