Greg Brown

Although we have never met, I still feel as if I've lost a friend. Gregory was a faithful contributer to P4P...not only with valuable information but most especially his words of encouragement. He will be sorely missed. I have added his family to my prayers.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gregory Scott Brown, 34, of 8-F Doral Drive, Flying Hills, who died in an auto accident Saturday in Cumru Township, will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Stephen Church, Oil City, Venango County.

A Memorial Mass will be Monday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m. at St. Simon and Jude Church, West Broad Street, Bethlehem.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry, Venango County.

Morrison Funeral Home Inc., Oil City, Venango County, is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oil City, he was a son of Dale E. and Mary Kay Smith Brown, Bethlehem.

He was a 1987 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem, and also received a business degree from Moravian College in Bethlehem.

He was an Army veteran.

Brown was employed as senior account executive for Copyworld in Reading. He had won the Salesman Marketing Award for Eastern Pennsylvania.

Also surviving is a brother, Grady A. Brown of New Tripoli, Lehigh County, and two sisters, Gretchen M. Angelucci of Oxford, Chester County, and Gwen M. Brown, Bethlehem.

In addition, there is his maternal grandmother, Mary K. Smith, Oil City

We will miss you buddy....

Although I rather new and new Greg only through his posts, it is still saddens me to hear of the loss of one so young with so much to offer. To his family and friends, know that you are in my prayers. I pray that your hearts be comforted as you celebrate the life of one who you all cared for so much

I am deeply saddened to hear about this. While I never met Greg, he was a valuble contributor to the p4photel.com. He did help many of us on this board. He will be missed by all. My best wishes and prayers go out to his family, co-workers and any one who was touched by his life.

My prayers are with Greg's family, co-workers and friends.

We were suppose to meet this week (for the first time), I was looking forward to meeting Greg. Greg has been a great contributor to the P4PHotel. He will be missed by us all.

I will try to make the Memorial Mass.

Was hoping we would meet this week, however now I know we'll meet in the future.

I will miss your enthusiaum and encouragement, but will remember that you're still smarter than the average bear.

My deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones. I as well did not know him except for his posts which have helped us all. We are all friends here and I believe we are all saddened as we have collectively lost a friend.

I spoke with Greg for the first time on the phone on Friday of last week, we will miss him very much. Greg was truely a class act.

Please keep his family in your prayers. We must never loose sight that the most important things in life are not what you do or have, but who you are as a person, your family and we all need to remem just how short life can be.

Like most of us I never met Greg but I valued is input.

We should do something to remember Greg. How about this;

Members submit their success stories here at the hotel. On Feb. 1st 2005 the managers or a committee review the success stories and pick the best 5 or so. Then members vote on which story is the best (not necessarily $$ wise) and then on February 14th of 2005 the votes are tallied and we award the Gregory Brown Memorial Achievement Award.

We could make up a nice certificate or something.

You nailed it Jay...what a great idea. As a constant reminder throughout the year (years), can the message board category read something like "Success Stories - Greg Brown Achievement Award"
