The board also approved the purchase of a new copier from Office Products Inc. in Great Bend. OPI submitted the only quote after specification were approved by the board last month. The copier costs $18,100, but with discounts and the trade-in of the old copier, the final cost will be $7,190. Henderson told the board she also negotiated a continued maintenance agreement at the same price negotiated in 1999.
Henderson said she won’t purchase a copier for the GBRC Activity Center for the first year of operation. A copier will be rented if needed, until staff have a better idea of what is needed at the new facility.
