IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kofax® Limited (NASDAQ: KFX) (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of software to simplify and transform the First Mile™ of customer engagements, today announced that a leading global transport and logistics services provider based in Europe has invested $1.9 million to expand its Kofax Capture™ based solution. The company has chosen Kofax as its global standard to automate the capture and indexing of tens of millions of shipment related documents, including bills of lading, invoices and import/export certificates, for easy access and expedited customs clearance.

Kofax Capture™ provides industry leading scan-to-archive capabilities by scanning documents and forms to create digital images, extracting index data for retrieval purposes and delivering the images and associated data to a variety of repositories and applications.  

  

Kofax Transformation Modules™ is an integrated platform of applications that streamline the transformation of different document types into structured electronic information, ready for delivery into business systems and processes.

    

Kofax Front Office Server™ extends existing Kofax capture business       processes to customer facing employees seeking to initiate transactions, workflows and capture processes at the earliest possibility.   

 

Kofax VirtualReScan® Elite is Kofax’s patented image enhancement and perfection software. Kofax VRS Elite reduces the time involved in manual document preparation and enhances the quality of scanned images, dramatically improving both manual scanning productivity and the efficiency of document capture processes.    

 

This was a multi-phased purchase with contracts closing in May,       September and December 2014 totaling more than $1.3 million in software license revenue and $600,000 in professional and maintenance services.  The May contract included more than $560,000 in license revenue and more than $250,000 in professional and maintenance services; the September contract more than $90,000 in professional services; and the December contract more than $740,000 in license revenue and more than $230,000 in professional and maintenance services.
