Wednesday May 28, 2:51 pm ET

TAMPA, Fla., May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- San Antonio-based Dahill Industries, a Global Imaging Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: GISX - News) core company, posted the best overall operating results for the fiscal year among all the other 57 Global companies nationwide to win the top award for the second year in a row. Their "twopeat," as Global president and CEO Tom Johnson dubbed the feat, was awarded at the Eight Annual Global Leaders Conference.

The coveted Chairman's Trophy is awarded annually for outstanding performance to the Global company that turns in the top numbers measured by revenue growth, operating income growth, and the growth in cash flow, return on assets and return on investment. Dahill turned in record revenues that were three percent over budget and recorded a superb level of 14 percent over budget in operating profit, besting last year's performance in both categories despite continued economic challenges.

Mr. Johnson said, "The people at Dahill Industries are the epitome of the 'Powered by Commitment' theme we adopted for this year's Global Leaders' meeting. No one was more committed to their customers and to improving their productivity than these top performers."

Dahill president Mike Mueller said, "These results prove what happens when this level of commitment, and focus and teamwork, is followed day in, day out, by an entire organization." He added that it was particularly gratifying to win the award the same night that the Dallas Mavericks won their series to make the NBA Western Conference playoffs a completely Texas affair between the Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs. "Now Texas has three great performers and champions to be proud of," he said.

Dahill is a Global Imaging Systems' core company serving middle-market customers in eastern Texas from offices in San Antonio, Austin, Bryan/College Station, Tyler, Laredo, Harlingen, McAllen and Corpus Christi. Dahill is one of Texas' leading providers of office technology solutions including the sale and service of Konica, Sharp and Savin digital copiers and fax products.
