GEI WideFormat Now Offers the Ricoh Aficio MP W3601

GEI WideFormat will now market the latest wide format imaging system from Ricoh: the Aficio MP W3601. This electro-photographic system is capable of printing over 6 D-size pages per minute and boasts a maximum image resolution of 600 dpi. The MP W3601 is available with both a Paper Cassette Tray Option that holds 250 cut sheets and 2 Roll Paper Feeders for maximum flexibility in media selection. With that kind of powerful output it may be hard to believe that this printer is Energy Star qualified and would be a fine addition to anyone's Green Office conversion.
But robust output is only part of the amazing feature set that the MP W3601 offers. The system's multitude of dynamic input options puts it in a class by itself. The most impressive of these inputs is the full color document scanner featuring a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi. The scanner, with embedded controller, can process documents at speeds up to 3.14 inches per second. The resulting image can then be instantly printed or automatically routed to a network folder, remote document server, FTP directory, email recipient, website URL or even to a thumb drive connected to the built-in USB port. The file can be saved in a variety of file formats including tiff, jpeg and pdf.
The MP W3601 also allows you to input print jobs via the built-in USB or Ethernet ports. The simple network interface makes formatting complex print jobs from your desk practically effortless. And with Ricoh's WebImageMonitor Utility you can also keep an eye on system functions like paper and toner levels without leaving your work area. Walk-up users are treated to no less of an intuitive interface though. The MP W3601's 8.5 inches wide, high definition LCD control panel makes operating this imaging system a breeze.
