Can it connect with the Saddlestitch Finisher?

How long is the life of each dye set (in copies)?

Is there a way to make it work with the 1105 and 1085?

It only connects to the SR840

Went through Launch Kit and there is no word on life....however all it does is punch the holes you have to have the appropiate die's off line finishing (like the coil inserter)

Only works with 2090 2105

An update, I have contacted GBC in reference to the life of the die's. They are suppose to call me back later with the information.

They explained that the partnership was so new that they were just notified (in customer service). Hope to have an answer soon!

By the way, can anyone tell me what the difference is between the SR810 and the SR840?

Ok,

Here is the answer from GBC Corporate for the "dies" for the GBC Streampunch. I for one think the yield is low (if anyone else can please comment or verify).

The expected life of the "die" is 5,000 cycles or 500,000 copies (I don't think this is correct)!

Based on the retail cost of $850, the cpc is .0017 per page. We will have to treat this item the same as adding staples to the unit.

I am curious where Ricoh's numbers will be for this. Based on 5,000 sheets of paper, the .0017 will add $6.00 to the cost of a case. Does anyone know what a case of pre-punched 32 hole paper sells for?
