(1888PressRelease) October 09, 2008 - FAIRFIELD, New Jersey – Advanced Imaging Solutions and Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today announced the release of a new server-based software tool, PrintQ Manager, to monitor, maintain and analyze print jobs and usage. This powerful solution combines advanced user/group print tracking capabilities, access controls, and robust reporting to significantly reduce paper waste and lower output costs on all Kyocera networked MFPs and printers.

Based on proprietary Kyocera technology, PrintQ Manager creates secure printer/MFP job queues on an end-user’s network; enabling network administrators’ the ability to monitor Kyocera device operations and obtain greater insight on how the Kyocera devices are being used for enhanced output management. In addition, companies can make more informed equipment purchasing and deployment decisions, as they gain an understanding of printer/MFP usage. With this knowledge, organizations have the opportunity to reduce total printing costs and optimize equipment deployment.

A key feature to the PrintQ Manager solution is the ability to monitor device availability in real-time. This capability offers an immediate value-add; offering enhanced output flexibility, as print jobs can be routed to a different printer/MFP, based on device availability and/or job requirement. This is critical in optimizing device utilization of the print fleet, and achieving greater workforce productivity.

“We continue to see high end-user demand for software monitoring tools that can assist organizations to increase control over their printing costs,” said Victor Moro, marketing & solutions manager, Monochrome MFPs, Kyocera Mita America. “We introduced PrintQ Manager as a response to this need – because budget-conscience organizations want the opportunity to save money, eliminate printer waste and enhance end-user productivity. PrintQ Manager is the ideal tool, as it helps organizations enforce a standard for cost recovery through print usage monitoring.”

Gary Harouff, president of Advanced Imaging Solutions stated “We are excited that we can continue to help our customer find ways to save money in one of the largest undocumented business expense, especially in today’s business market.”
