Fujifilm gives more details on new Print Production System
- Planning to launch the world’s first toner-based production color system that handles up to B2 sheet sizes
- Gave sneak peek last week at its facility in Ratingen, Germany of the upcoming Revoria GC12500 system

- Admitted to having beta unit running at a print shop in Italy
- 64gsm – 450gsm media handling
- Up to 29.5” x 26” sheet size
- 1200x1200dpi actual, advertised as 2400dpi x 2400dpi
- 10 bit color depth
- Uses a unique magnetic force pattern and overcomes toner transfer unevenness due to large area printing
- 4 tandem OPC drum design
- Claims will use the industry’s smallest toner particles
- Adaptive Registration Adjustment System measures paper shrinkage one-by-one and adjust front-to-back registration in real time
- Includes sensor to measure paper shrinkage caused by heat created by fusing section
