Fuji Xerox Ranked Highest in J.D. Power Asia Pacific Color Printer Customer Satisfaction Study for Two Consecutive Years
TOKYO — Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. was ranked highest for two consecutive years in the 2011 Japan Color Printer Customer Satisfaction Index StudySM, which was released on September 16 by J.D. Power Asia Pacific, Inc., a global marketing information service company.
The study examines four factors that contribute to overall customer satisfaction with regard to color printers, respectively weighted with the degree of importance; product (41 percent), cost (22 percent), maintenance services (20 percent) and sales response (16 percent). This year, Fuji Xerox received the highest score for all factors.
In the study results, J.D. Power Asia Pacific reported that it is necessary to consider how to maintain customer contact and loyalty while customers are becoming more cost sensitive along with the commoditization of the printer market. Fuji Xerox continues to provide products and support that deserve the industry-leading evaluation, while aiming to provide quality solutions and services that meet customers’ business challenges. Accordingly, Fuji Xerox fosters its activities to achieve higher customer satisfaction.
J.D. Power Asia Pacific has been conducting the customer satisfaction studies for color printers used in offices since 1997. The company conducted the 2011 study during May and June, targeting business entities in Japan with 30 or more employees, and received 2,018 responses.
