Fuji Xerox recently launched their latest lines of DocuPrint and Phaser printers and multi-function printers. These latest offerings cater to the SME and SOHO markets by offering fully featured printers and MFPs at affordable prices.
DocuPrint C1110/B
Fuji Xerox is touting that the DocuPrint C1110 and C1110B are the industry’s first A4 compact laser printers that deliver the fastest color print speeds in its class. Both the C1110 and the C1110B are better suited for the burgeoning demand of SMB users who are looking for quality color printouts in a low cost and easy to use package. Both printers boast Fuji Xerox Printer’s own single-pass color engine, a powerful 333MHz processor, standard 128MB memory and print resolutions of up to 9600 x 600 dpi, all in a small package.
In a network environment, the C1110 is a perfect with its small size, fast printing, and network and print security. The C1110 supports Auditron functionality which is an authentication function that allows the management of printing usage within a small workgroup. Controls such as setting the number of prints, locking between monochrome and color can be set with Auditron. It has CentralWare Internet Services where administrators can check on the printer’s status, configuration settings and check remaining volume of consumables and paper with the use of a web browser. It also has Secure Printing which stores confidential documents in its memory and would only print that document when you input your password on the printer itself.
DocuPrint C1190 FS
The DocuPrint C1190 FS is an A4 color multifunction laser printer features document management functions that enhance the productivity of Small Office Home Offices (SOHO) and small workgroups. With the C1190 FS, users are able to send faxes from their PCs directly. Scanned images can also be sent via email directly from the C1190 FS without having to use a PC or shared through uploading on an FTP server or through SMB.
It offers brilliant high gloss and vibrant color printouts with a fast First Page Time Out (FPTO) speed of 14.4 seconds in color. Speed is nothing if the output is substandard but with Fuji Xerox’s new Direct Transfer Technology, the DocuPrint C1119 FS delivers sharper images and greater accuracy in color registration. As with the C1110, the C1119 FS has the same network functionality with Auditron, CentralWare Internet Services, and Secure Printing and with it’s fax capability, the C1119 FS also features Secure Fax Receives to handle confidential faxes as well.
DocuPrint C2120
The DocuPrint C2120 delivers impressive crisp and sharp text, graphics, or images at 600 x 600 dpi (multi-level). Working at speeds of up to 18 printer pages per minute or up to 20 pages per minute in monochrome, the C2120 is an affordable office printing solution with comprehensive networking, security, and device management features.
In a network environment, the DocuPrint C2120 is IPv6 compatible. It also supports Web Services on Device, which makes setting up the C2120 on Windows Vista a snap. Users running a Citrix network environment are supported with the Citrix Presentation Sever for local or WAN printing. Security is not forgotten with the C2120, it offers advanced security features such as Secure Print, Control Panel Lock, IPsec data encryption and IP Filter.
Phaser 3100 MFP
Designed for small offices or small workgroups, the Phaser 3100MFP/S and 3100MF/X (with faxing capabilities) will keep a busy office environment running smoothly with its impressive speed of up to 20 monochrome printed pages per minute and a First Page Out Time speed as fast as 13 seconds. Users can scan documents in color or monochrome directly to a PC or a USB flash drive. Both printers come with Nuance Paperport SE11 software that easily converts hard copy documents to electronic documents that can be edited.
The Phaser 3100MFP is designed for fast and simple installation and set-up. It has a simple front panel which provides one-touch convenience for many walk-up features. A full keyboard on the panel makes it easy to program address books, send faxes, and address locations to store files. It also has ID Card Copy that lets users photocopy small two-sided documents or ID cards with ease.
Phaser 3435D/N
The Phaser 3435D and 3435DN monochrome laser printers deliver impressive business class documents at speeds of up to 33 printed pages per minute with an FPTO of 8.5 seconds. Both printers produce sharp text and graphics at 1200 x 1200 dpi. They have built-in duplex for double-sided printing and each printer has a 300-sheet paper capacity with is expandable to 550 sheets with an optional paper cassette.
With the DocuPrint and Phaser lines, Fuji Xerox had made available monochrome and color laser printers and multifunction laser printer to Small to Medium Enterprises as well as for the Small Office Home Office market at affordable prices while still offering advanced features.
