Xerox Corp. subsidiary Global Imaging Systems said Monday it has purchased Fuchs Business Solutions via its subsidiary Modern Business Machines.
Milwaukee-based Fuchs Business Solutions employs 17 and provides business and office technology products and services. The business will immediately add Xerox’s printers and multifunction devices and services to its portfolio. Fuchs president and owner Jim Fuchs will retire post-acquisition, according to a press release. Terms were not disclosed.
“Each time we add new expertise to our network, we boost Xerox’s ability to reach the growing number of small and medium businesses,” said Mike Pietrunti, GIS senior vice president of acquisitions, corporate service and marketing, in a written statement.
