Jointly sponsored by the Pennsylvania Workforce Development Association and the state's Department of Labor & Industry, the Governor's Achievement Awards recognize exceptional employers for their exemplary support of workforce, community, and economic development in the commonwealth, the creation of jobs, as well as their partnership to hire skilled workers through Pennsylvania's workforce development system. Ford Business Machines was nominated for this honor by the Pennsylvania CareerLink Fayette County for their commitment to the CareerLink program, their participation in various youth career programs such as the Challenge Program, and their service on a multitude of local Boards and Advisory Committees that includes the Boy Scouts of America, the YMCA, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary.
Ford posted their first position on PA CareerLink in April of 2002 and since then have filled 62 of 133 positions posted through the PA CareerLink website. Due to recent company expansions, in 2018 alone, Ford Business Machines filled 11 positions through PA CareerLink.
