FM Audit, Ricoh, NewField IT and SafeCom Join First Asia Pacific MPS Conference Hosted by Photizo Group

MPS Leaders commit to premier educational event for managed print services market

Lexington, KY – July 27, 2010 -- When an opportunity came up to support the Asia Pacific Managed Print Services market, key vendors quickly became involved. The first Asia Pacific MPS Conference, scheduled for September 2-3 in Singapore, represented a chance for vendors and service providers to connect with key players in this fast-growing market. Market visionaries FM Audit, Ricoh, SafeCom and NewField IT quickly stepped up to sponsor the first ever event in the Asia Pacific region, which will be hosted by Photizo Group.

“Having attended three Photizo MPS Conferences in the USA and Europe, I had no hesitation in supporting their first Asia Pacific one. Economically, the Asia Pacific region is a powerhouse for world growth, and MPS is just as important to companies’ success there as in other regions. Photizo’s strong educational approach to conferences, along with sound market research delivers an excellent return on time invested in attending their conferences,” said Robert Newry, head of professional services and co-founder of NewField IT.
The Asia Pacific arena represents enormous opportunities for managed print services vendors, dealers and resellers. According to Photizo Group research, the Asia Pacific market is expected to grow to $7.69B by 2013. The market’s 60 percent compound annual growth rate is the highest of any region globally.

Anticipating the need for information and analysis about the market, Photizo Group opened an Asia Pacific office in February of this year.
“Photizo Group is proud to organize and host the first Asia Pacific MPS Conference, and we are excited to have such highly regarded companies join us as sponsors,” said Keng Keng Tan, Senior Consultant and Managing Director for Photizo Group, Asia Pacific. “FM Audit, Ricoh and SafeCom have achieved solid results in the MPS space, and will bring valuable experience and solutions to the upcoming conference.”

Photizo has established a track record of successful MPS Conferences, including the standing-room-only North America Conference in San Antonio and 2009 conferences in Amsterdam and Dubai. Participants raved about the events as unique educational resources, and this tradition of excellence will continue in Singapore. Over the course of just a few days, OEM vendors; software and infrastructure providers, resellers and channel partners, decision makers and end-users can meet, learn, share and network.

The two-track conference will focus on best practices in implementing MPS and in defining MPS business models. Photizo Group CEO Ed Crowley will present a state-of-the-industry keynote that will include some intriguing MPS predictions.

“MPS represents a major transformation of the imaging industry, and only well-prepared companies will be the frontrunners and be part of the driving force in the MPS business. This conference, themed ‘MPS: Foundation for Success’ will help vendors and end users in Asia Pacific prepare and position for this tremendous opportunity," said Tan.
