fax user tracking

If it were not for the program Greg Crews loaded here, I would not have been abloe to access the cross reference that easily. At this time I do not have any answer for you, does anyone know if the 4410L (Ricoh) can do this?

Graham, could we keep that program (the cross reference a resident feature off this site, and Greg can you upload the lastest versions as you get them?

The solution that I'm aware of and installed in the past is Equitrac. Not sure the cost is where you want it to be, but the customer needs to understand that this could be a time consuming task of capturing pages by department or client, or for whatever reason. Nevertheless, they have solutions that allow the client to on a monthly basis produce electronic reports that can be imported easily into most spreadsheets or accounting software. Find out who your local Equitrac representative is and give her or him a call.

I did get an Equitrac quote and while it seems to be a great system, it is unfortunatly cost prohibitive. Currently the fax is behind the desk and clients have to give the document to the receptionist to fax and she bills it to the client. They would like to be able to put a fax machine in the loby and clients can just walk up, enter a code and use the fax. All they really need is a running total for each user code of pages sent. Does anyone else have any ideas on this. I'm also looking at maybe a 1015 with a fax option to give both walk up copying and faxing. Thanks.

Thanks for the Hecon info, it is a little more cost effective. Yesterday when I met with the customer they mentioned that they are looking at the possibility of adding color the first of the year. Does anyone know if the Next Generation Architecture machines like the 1224C will track sending faxes. This could be an added feature to get them to buy color. Thanks again!!

I'll answer my own question here. Yes all of the "Next Generation" machines will track transmissions as well as received faxes.
