European Union to ban Ninestar products?
- The Association of Toner Renovators (ART) of Czechoslovakia reported that the European Union may be set to ban toner cartridges that are made by Ninestar of China due to the company’s alleged use of slave
labor - (Ninestar of China is the parent of Lexmark)
- The proposed rule would go into effect based on verifiable information provided by the International Labor Organization
- Would also likely apply to Xingjang Zhongtai Chemical of China, which is one of the largest producers of plastics used in production of toner cartridges and laser printers
