ESP/SurgeX has announced its Remote Diagnostics Suite of products designed for use in imaging, IT, AV and small-office settings. The suite includes cloud and connectivity features that simplify the monitoring, control and management of power issues to make them more intuitive — both inside and outside of a local network. The Suite was designed to increase the productivity and profitability of service teams.

The Remote Diagnostics Suite currently consists of the following ESP/SurgeX products: the Next Gen PCS, Envision PCS, eCommandCenter, Remote Control Center, Remote Portal, Axess Elite, Axess Manager and Axess Ready lines. Each solution is designed to meet the energy monitoring, control, management and power protection needs of connected equipment, including printers, PCs, AV racks, servers, copier/MFPs and more. This technology can be integrated into existing OEM platforms and future ESP/SurgeX installations.

ESP/SurgeX launched its initial IP-enabled product in 2009 and developed cloud-based capabilities in 2011. The company innovated the first complete hardware and software solution in the industry that allows businesses to manage and control power proactively via a user-friendly interface and increase profitability by giving technicians a simple, convenient and portable solution to pre-diagnose power data without a service call.

Additions to the Remote Diagnostics Suite include cellular connectivity, an embedded all-in-one Envision Remote Portal and enhanced cloud accessibility. Diagnostics enhancements include the capture of trending data and power issues over time.

ESP/SurgeX also enables system-wide, live communication with all Remote Diagnostic Suite installations, making it easier than even to monitor live metrics and cycle/reboot power to equipment.
