Color Laser Printer Combines High Performance, Quality Images and Affordability
IRVINE, Calif., (Aug. 10, 2005) – Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today introduced the latest addition to its workgroup color laser printer line, the e-STUDIO™250CP. Toshiba’s newest color printer delivers print speeds of 25 pages-per-minute (PPM), a fast first print out time of just 13 seconds in monochrome and 15 seconds in color, and crisp 4800 dpi image quality, all at an affordable price.

Sharp, High-Quality Color Images
Incorporating a 600 MHz processor, image quality tops the e-STUDIO250CP’s impressive list of features. In addition to the standard 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, the e-STUDIO250CP offers enhanced 4800 dpi image quality for advanced halftone-screening methods that result in improved image quality. This feature also reduces the time to print by using less memory for faster spooling. Additionally, an automatic color correction control system produces clean, sharp text with solid and bright colors.
Along with a monthly duty cycle of 100,000 pages per month, the e-STUDIO250CP offers long toner life of 6,000 yield starter cartridges for both black and color toner. Furthermore, long life 15,000 yield replacement cartridges are available, which means users do not have to worry about constantly replacing supplies. In addition, to help lower the cost of operation and increase the life of toner supplies, the e-STUDIO250CP features a Color Saver function that reduces the saturation in all color levels.
Versatile Paper Handling
The e-STUDIO250CP is designed to fulfill a variety of printing requirements, allowing users to print on transparencies, envelopes, labels and card stock up to 110-pound index. In addition, the e-STUDIO250CP can handle letter and legal paper sizes and comes standard with a 500-sheet drawer and a 100-sheet bypass. An optional 500-sheet drawer, 2000-sheet drawer, Duplex unit, Envelope feeder, 5-bin mailbox and Output expander also are available. Business color users that need to produce a wide range of finished document sets can take advantage of an optional 3000 Sheet Finisher, offering stapling, hole punch and job offset features.
Complete Network Compatibility
The e-STUDIO250CP is compatible with all major network operating systems, including Windows 98 SE, NT4.0, 2000, ME, XP, Server 2003, Novell Netware 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x and Mac O/S 8.6 or later. To meet the growing demand of connectivity in the business environment, the e-STUDIO250CP comes standard with a 10/100BaseT network interface and a USB 2.0 connection. An IEEE 802.11g wireless option also is available to accommodate mobile office users.
The e-STUDIO250CP is now available through Toshiba’s nationwide network of dealers for a suggested list price of $2,099 (USD).
