DocuWare Group: 25 Percent Growth in Q1/2015
Success Continues – Cloud Trend Speeds Up
New Windsor NY, May 5, 2015 – After record growth in 2014, DocuWare, a global ECM specialist, sees the growth trend continue: comparing the first three months of 2014 and 2015, the DocuWare Group increased revenue by 25 percent. In the first quarter alone, the number of Cloud customers grew by 43 percent.
The result speaks for itself – in the first quarter of the new fiscal year, growth is already at 25 percent over the same period last year. Leading the charge, as in 2014, was the American market which was followed by the Germany/Austria/Switzerland market. Profits were also strong partially due to developments in the US dollar – EBIT was 15 percent.
Technology Leadership Bears Fruit
In the past several years DocuWare has driven its technology platforms to assume leadership in the critical categories of Innovation, Architecture, Security, Integration and Scalability. A direct result of these efforts, for example, is their rich Cloud offering with true SaaS architecture. At the end of 2014, a total of 3,486 users from 68 companies were working with DocuWare Cloud. By March 31, 2015, this grew to 97 companies and 4,269 users. Of all their new customers in the first quarter, 14 percent opted for the Cloud.
With their leadership role in this market segment, the software developer is convinced that by the end of the year, they will have 200 paying Cloud customers.
Best Regards, Steve
