DOCUTECH REPLACING

I have had great success with TextBridge Pro, I have used this on the 1232, 1224, 2035/45. I have not used it with the 2090. You can download a free trial from thier web site.........

OK, here is the Stupid Question: Are they scanning the docs in on their Docutech? I don't believe they can. Then, it is a software issue. All you are doing is changing the delivery system by which the documents get from paper form to electronic form. What they do with those documents after they scan them into their system has nothing to do with what machine scanned them in, or what machine they will be printed on. The Docutech doesn't miraculously clean the image up before printing (does it?) Anyway, just my .02 worth.

How long does the free trial last? For Textbridge that is.

Oh, to finish answering your question...However they clean them up now, they will be able to continue doing that regardless of what machine (which by the way isn't the Docutech) scans them in.

Try Desktop Editor for production, I've tried it and it works.Tiff format

Agree to Junior. Desk Top Editor for Production was especially developed for this purpose. It is rather easy to use and customer can delete parts of sheets (like for cleaning of poor originals) but also make other changes. the good thing is that you can select than sheet for sheet but also Batchmode. Customers used to DT (by the way which one 61-series or the old one) will be amazed with the ease of use.
