Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) March 27, 2013
BMI Imaging Systems, a leading provider of California document management, document conversion and microfilm scanning solutions, is pleased to announce that its data center provider, RagingWire Data Centers, has successfully validated compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) version 2.0 for its data center campuses in Sacramento, California and Ashburn, Virginia. The PCI DSS assessment, completed from August 20, 2012 to November 8, 2012, included an exhaustive review of data center security records, operating procedures, network security protocols, and personnel security efforts. The assessment was performed by BrightLine CPAs & Associates, Inc., a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) that provides assurance and compliance services to companies worldwide.
BMI relies on RagingWire’s mission critical data centers as the infrastructure foundation for its document conversion and document hosting solutions. Bill Whitney, BMI Imaging’s president, explains, “As a document management and document conversion company, we digitally convert and host millions of vital records for our business and government agency customers. We have been a customer of RagingWire for nearly five years now. RagingWire’s recertification for PCI DSS 2.0 compliance, along with their 100% availability and the highest customer loyalty in the industry give BMI customers confidence in our solutions.”
BMI creates electronic records from paper or microfilm and then hosts those records on behalf of its clients. BMI’s document hosting service is ideal for companies and government agencies that want to avoid the complexities of managing IT or want to reduce capital expenditures to smaller, monthly expenditures. Users simply and securely retrieve the digital records over the Internet. Whitney states, “RagingWire provides BMI and our clients the peace-of-mind knowing that their mission critical data is supported by a world-class IT infrastructure.”
“We are proud to be BMI’s data center platform,” said Jason Weckworth, vice president of data center operations at RagingWire. “BMI and RagingWire share a commitment to innovation, quality, and superior customer service. For over 50 years, BMI has been an industry leader helping its customers store, manage, retrieve, and secure millions of documents in today’s digital world.
