DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The State of Arizona has awarded DocuLynx, a leader in document and information management solutions, the ability to provide physical record conversion services, image and index data archiving, comprehensive enterprise-wide content management software, and physical records conversion. The contract can be used by any member of the State Purchasing Cooperative that has entered into a “Cooperative Purchasing Agreement” with the Arizona Department of Administration State Procurement Office.
DocuLynx has provided document scanning services to the state since 2007, but this new contract features a more comprehensive and robust strategy to enhance the state’s document management operations.
“These comprehensive back-end office solutions, inclusive of software and services, will provide for common enterprise-wide administrative functions so agencies can focus on their mission,” said David Doty, DocuLynx business consultant for the State of Arizona. “The contract also allows for four free hours of professional consulting on re-engineering business processes.”
The state will utilize DocuLynx’s suite of data management solutions (DMS); a web-hosted DMS to streamline workflow and securely centralize data; as well as DocuLynx Mercury, an archiving and retrieval system for cost-effective storage and easy access to archived data. DocuLynx has a regional office in Scottsdale, Ariz., which will serve the entire state.
“This was a competitive bid, and DocuLynx is honored to receive the highest score based on rigorous evaluation criteria,” said Michael Liess, DocuLynx president & CEO. “This partnership will enable state agencies to use our systems to efficiently and effectively manage data—which we’re proud to say will directly benefit Arizona citizens.”
State personnel will accelerate constituent services; deliver high-quality information to key decision makers more quickly; and digitize public records to comply with requests, inquiries, and retention rates.
