Digitalization hurts employee productivity?

Research published by Cornell University of Ithaca, NY and Qatalog
- 45% claim it makes them less productive when they constantly glance between email inboxes, tools, documents, and more onscreen
- 43% say it is exhausting to constantly switch between tools
- Spend an average of 36 minutes daily switching between tools
- Average of 10 minutes spent to get back in to good workflow after they have entered a new app
- Spend 59 minutes each day on average looking for information hidden within folders on different applications
- Have to interrupt at least 2 coworkers up to 5 times per day to get assistance in locating information
- 54% say adding apps to improve workflow actually makes it harder to find data they need
