  • 238% increase in cyberattack volume during pandemic
  • 71% of employees access more company data, more frequently, when they are working from home
    • 43% = customer and operational data
    • 23% = financial data
    • 23% = HR records
      • 33% download more from Internet than before pandemic
      • 27% admit to use work device to play games
      • 36% admit to using work device for watching streaming services
      • 40% use work device for homework and online learning
      • 54% increase in malicious actors exploiting gaming platforms
      • 76% say working from home has blurred lines between personal and professional lives
      • 27% know they are not to share work devices but feel they have no choice
        • 85% worry such behavior increases risk of security breach
        • 50% of office workers see their work devices (laptops, smartphones, printers, MFPs) as a personal device
        • 54% see increase in email phishing attacks
        • 56% see increase in web browser related infections
        • 44% saw compromised devices (including printers/MFPs) being used to infect the wide business
        • 45% specifically saw increase in compromised printers being used as an attack point
