Here is one thing I have seen a dealer do. B&W toner is inclusive in the service click approximately .014 and color clicks are .04 and the customer purchases Cyan, Magenta and Yellow toner themselves.

We have programs for $.085 for Color and $.014 for black on this series.

We charge .0125 for black inclusive of toner and .05 for color exclusive of Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow.

If they are not on a straight cost per copy plan (color) they pay for all color consumable supplies, i.e. color toners, fuser oil and waste toner bottle. With the 2228/32/38 they do not come with a starter set of toner so the customer pays for the set of color toner installed (if on plan 2). They also pay .037 per color copy to cover all maintenance kits that are now considered repair parts.

(both are lease maintenance plans)
