Is anyone familiar with the .cpc file extention? Can these files be printed to the 240w. Does it require the Postscript option?

A good file extension look-up site, FILExt, http://filext.com/index.php, says "CPC Lite Cartesian Perceptual Compressed File." I did a Google search on that definition and found this site: http://www.cartesianinc.com/Tech/

good rule of thumb - if they can plot to an HP, they can plot to the 240 / 480 since we can understand an HPGL driver. Does not always work, but almost always.
That's a good point, and makes me realize I misread the question. 
I read "is the .CPC extension supported" but you asked "can these files be printed".
The answer will be, of course they can be printed... As long as your customer has a Windows-Based program that can open the file. You can then just use the windows print driver to sent the print.
You will not be able to submit them with Plotclient, or have Plotbase understand them natively, but once they pass thru the driver, it should work fine.
Postscript will still not be a factor.
