Benton, Ill. -
Franklin County Board members approved one of the copier bids received earlier in the year but declined to purchase the items during Tuesday night's regular meeting.

Member Ken Hungate recommended accepting the bid from Executive in Centralia because it would be less expensive. He said all machines are compatible and include a five-year contract. Four copiers are needed for county offices, one of which that required a fax machine.

Administrative assistant Gayla Sink said the bid is supposed to be good, once the board approved the bid.
