Kyocera Mita America Launches Network Solutions Group
Customer service approach to help channel partners and end-users better integrate document solutions within overall IT strategies

Fairfield, New Jersey, July 14, 2004 - Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, today announced the launch of a customer business strategy that combines technical, marketing, sales and support expertise. The newly formed Network Solutions Group will partner with Kyocera’s dealers, resellers and end-users to develop smarter, more efficient document solutions designed to help decision makers optimize their overall IT strategies.
IT optimization is a priority in today’s business environment as companies look for ways to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies in all their IT investments and associated costs. The most highly overlooked and under-estimated of these costs being document solutions. Kyocera’s Network Solutions Group will work with organizations to meet both IT and business needs – most notably improving network reliability and reducing total cost of ownership. This will be accomplished through a seamless pre-sales and post sales support strategy in which the group will oversee the entire deployment process from installation and integration to aftermarket.

This new organization will be headed by Mark Desarno, recently appointed director, Network Solutions Group. Desarno, formerly National Digital Product Support Manager for Kyocera Mita America, will offer customers an IT-centric view based on direct experience evaluating and addressing their printing needs.

“In today’s business environment, document capture, document management and document distribution must be handled consistently, accurately and securely throughout an organization so that content can be put to work quickly and efficiently,” said Michael Pietrunti, senior vice president, marketing and technical services for Kyocera Mita America. “This initiative will allow us to continue our rapid U.S. growth, combining a network-centric approach with our industry-lowest total cost of ownership.”
