JEFFERSON CITY — A fire in a copy machine caused the evacuation of a seven-story building in downtown Jefferson City Wednesday morning, according to Fire Department Division Chief Jason Turner.
At approximately 11:00 Wednesday morning, the fire created a great deal of smoke on the seventh floor of the Baptist Building at High and Adams streets. The occupants of the building were evacuated, according to Turner. .....read the rest here
