I'm working with one of our school districts trying to control the amount of copying they do. They claim that the Canon and the Konica machines will allow them to assign a limit to the number of copies a teacher can run and will shut them off when they reach that limit.
Ricoh tech support told me we would have to put a card-reader or some kind of key counter on the Ricoh copiers to have a way to stop copying at a certain number.
This could determine whether or not we close the deal for the whole district. The added expense could knock us out of the game. Any suggestions?
