SAN ANTONIO -- A portable building outside a private school on the city's near north side was damaged in a fire early Wednesday morning.
San Antonio firefighters said the blaze was contained to the Community Development Office outside the School for Excellence, 3711 Capitol Ave.
Arson investigators were called to the scene but determined the fire was caused by a faulty exhaust fan in the bathroom.
The portable building contained mostly copiers and electronics.
Damage was estimated around $35,000.
