Copier salesman hits reset button, starts Second Profession: Portland Breweries Series
Brewing beer sounded more fun to Charlie Goman than selling copiers.
Go figure. (editor’s note: said with all due respect to copier salespeople who love their jobs).
“I decided I didn’t want to wake up at 45 and still be a copier salesman,” said Goman. “I was on track to a lucrative career, but I decided it wasn’t for me.”
So the 33-year-old set about changing his career – and his life. The culmination of that reset is the aptly named Second Profession Brewing, a Northeast Portland brewpub Goman opened in October 2017, taking over the former home of BTU Brasserie & Brewery on Sandy Boulevard. read the rest here
