Does anyone have any competitive information on the Lexmark XM1145? We are competing with a Savin MP301. Looks like the Lexmark is fast, cheap and feature rich. I guess we'll have to focus on reliability, our superior service, etc... vs. speeds and feeds.

I would focus on the cost per page first. Find out of the customer is going to take a maintenance agreement. You may have win there. If no maintenance agreement is needed I would then focus on the consumables costs of the A4 device. Such as cost per page for toner, cost per page for drum (imaging) and cost per page for the fuser kit.
I found the fuser maintenance kit on CDW for $269.99, however, there is no yield stated. I also found another fuser kit for $356 and the yield is 200K which would be .00178.
Precision roller has the OEM drum kit for $99 and the yield is 60K. Thus the cost per page is .00165 for the drum (which is low).
Toner kit $266 for 5% coverage @16K, in ordered to match our 6% I would cut the yield on the cartridge by 20% and use 12,800 as the yield (please correct me if I'm wrong. Cost per page would be .0207. Found the price of toner cartridge on the link below.
Here's a neat link about the toner cartridge:
Other items to look at:
Down load a print driver
Down load the operators manual
Find out what features your system has that the Lexmark does not and then dig with the customer to see if one of these features is something they need. If so, that's a knock out feature.
Here's some links for you:

Thanks Art. I think that operating costs and long time reliability are in my favor.
The XM1145 is a shade over $0.02 per click in a m/a contract. If the customer is doing over 2,500 clicks per month the machine has no chance in a competitive deal unless the consumer buys non-OEM toner and just does a parts and labor only service contract w/out consumables for about $200/yr.
Customer is rarely educated enough to know to do this and a salesperson moving such a small box rarely cares enough to inform the customer on how to make the XM1150 a cost-effective option.
Great! Thanks.
