Further, the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2030/C2020 offer administrators significant ease of device management and the consistency of user experience critical for fleet integration.
Advanced Technology
To maximize efficiency across end-user environments, the new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2030/C2020 include a broad array of features including a large, easy-to-use 5.7-inch full-color TFT user-interface offering Main Menu/Quick Menu personalization for common functions and streamlined job control. Delivering output speeds of up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) and 20 ppm (letter) for black and white and color output, respectively, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2030/C2020 offer small offices access to an economical, high-efficiency MFP device while Canon's advanced technology allows networked users to connect and share information with in-network imageRUNNER ADVANCE host models for enhanced collaboration between central offices and remote locations and business units.
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2030/C2020 feature a maximum paper capacity of up to 2,000 sheets and can support up to 80 lb. cover media, while handling paper sizes up to 12 x 18-inch. A duplexing automatic document feeder (DADF) delivers 44 images per minute in both color and black and white, while internal finishing capability allows for a greater range of output options. Each model also features standard UFR II Printing to efficiently distribute the print processing burden of all components of printer data between the PC and the printer as well as Canon's Universal Send document distribution capabilities and high compression PDF/XPS feature.
For detail-oriented projects, the new models utilize imageRUNNER ADVANCE architecture and technologies to provide true 1,200 x 1,200 dots-per-inch (dpi) print resolution for exceptional output image quality, yielding smooth, vivid and well-defined images. Oil-free "pQ" toner produces text that is sharp with smooth corners while the rich, clear images display subtle gradient transitions and a high-quality finish.
Advanced Responsibility
Guided by our corporate philosophy of Kyosei, Canon has a long-standing commitment to the environment, green technology and reducing carbon footprints through every phase of the product lifecycle. Through its Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) System, Canon has lowered carbon dioxide emissions by focusing on each stage of the product lifecycle, including manufacturing, energy-use and logistics realizing an approximately 30 percent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions throughout its product lifecycle compared with previous models.
All imageRUNNER ADVANCE models employ certain components fabricated with 100 percent recycled plastics from retired products as well as bio-based plastics -- a plant-derived compound that replaces certain petroleum-based plastic parts. In addition, the new imageRUNNER ADVANCE models have a low-energy consumption of 1 watt or less in Sleep Mode and exceed the European Union RoHS Directive standards.
