The committee approved a plan that would consolidate the copier leases, and get rid of extra machines stashed around the district, that would save $12,000 this year.
The audit was part of the interim superintendent's plan to go over the school's budget with a fine-toothed comb while he is under contract with the district to find additional money to put into classrooms.
"I'm going to start looking at everything, no matter how small or how large," Mr. Malone said.
