The Richland County Commissioners Tuesday awarded the price per copy contract to MT Business Technologies.
Purchasing director Cathy Mosier outlined the bid specifications for the commissioners. Mosier said the bids were opened on Sept. 7 and there were five bidders.
Mosier said the contract was for three years for black and white and full color copies. She said MT Business Technologies submitted the low bid of $21,444.25.
Mosier said the contract will save the county $30,000 annually and $90,000 over the next three years.
The contract starts Nov. 1 and runs through October 31, 2013, with an option for two and one year renewals.
